A casting agency needed to showcase a large, multi year portfolio spanning several project types, commercials, films, music videos, and behind the scenes work. Instead of a linear portfolio that does not scale past a handful of entries, we needed a dynamic database allowing productions and talent applying for roles to have a clear sense of the type and scale of work the agency handles.
A specialized portfolio database brings the full project archive into one searchable, filterable system. Projects can be filtered by type and separately by year, with a text search that jumps straight to a brand or client name. Each card leads with a thumbnail, a type badge, and the year. Clicking one opens a modal with embedded video and a gallery of stills. A separate page is dedicated to application, completing the funnel from browsing to submitting as talent.
A minimalist layout enables quick navigation between project types, paired with a dark background that creates high contrast and makes each card pop. Information reveals itself progressively, while a brief popup message reassures visitors that content is loading. All videos are hosted on a private YouTube channel, keeping playback smooth and reliable while giving control over access and visibility.
